The Virtuosos of Vivaldi’s Orchestra
Antonio Vivaldi served as maestro di violino at the girls’ conservatory Il Pio Ospedale della Pietà, where he led an orchestra of young women, many of whom became highly accomplished instrumentalists. In this year’s edition of Young Artist Program, we explore the young female virtuosos who performed in Vivaldi’s orchestra, presenting music from his most beloved operas and instrumental repertoire.
Confidencen Opera & Music Festival 2026 – Female Edition is a co‑production between Confidencen and Den Andra Operan. Den Andra Operan receives support from the Swedish Arts Council, Signatur Foundation Sweden, Region Stockholm, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, and the Swedish Academy.

Free parking is available on site. We recommend that you arrive well in advance of the performance.
Book a break package in advance for a pleasant experience between acts.
The box office opens 2 hours before the start of the performance. The doors to the hall open 30 minutes before.
