It is grand theatre on an intimate format, as Görel Crona portrays a very different Selma Lagerlöf from the kindly storyteller figure we may be accustomed to. We follow the author’s journey from young girl to revered national icon.
Together with the acclaimed pianist and conductor Bo Johansson, and to music by Erland von Koch, the duo brings Selma to life through the child, the teenager, the student, and the adult woman prepared to sacrifice everything for the right to write. We also experience Selma’s passions and her tireless fight for women’s rights and an equal society.
Passionate, intellectually stimulating, and intimate.
